Dental jewelery

A dental jewel is a very safe way to discretely change your look.  It can be cemented to the tooth you want in minutes.  It can also be removed without damaging your natural tooth.  In most cases, we place it on a lateral tooth or on a canine.

Is it sustainable?

Durability of dental jewelry varies depending on usage and maintenance.  Some patients were able to keep their jewel without tarnishing it or it falling off for nearly 7 years.

Can I use a real diamond?

The installation of a real diamond is not recommended because it isn’t flat.  The tapered shape at it’s base offers no retention.  To be put correctly, we would have to damage the natural tooth.  Also, the shinyness of a real diamond comes from the light that passes through it.  When cemented, this effect is gone and it looks very dull.
